My Story

My name is Jennifer Kroeker.

I moved to Oakville Manitoba in early 2020. I work out of my home gym and in the surrounding areas. I have always had a passion for health and fitness!

I worked out at a young age, and as an adult I continued to workout using videos and a small set of weights, even through all five of my pregnancies. As I have aged I have started a “collection” much like others collect shoes or ornaments, however mine were all strength training or nutrition books, weights, workout accessories, etc. Slowly my collection has grown to a full running gym.

A few years ago I heard God calling me to follow my passion and learn it more intimately. By the end of 2019 I had completed several courses, taken many exams, renewed my CPR and first aid and passed my Registered Personal Trainer written exam with a 92% and practical in person exam with a 100%; I am now certified to run resistance training group classes and individual personal training sessions. I pursued this passion because I also wanted to be the influence for my children, to ensure that health was just a part of their daily routine; their lifestyle! I enjoy feeling healthy and want to help others feel healthy as well! Mind, Body, Spirit!

What does a healthy Lifestyle look like to me? View food as nutrition that can nourish and heal; view exercise as a way to be comfortably mobile and preventative of ailments, view spirituality as recovery for your soul, treat them as a daily lifestyle for all the many benefits they offer.

In the early winter of 2022 I came across Block Therapy, it intrigued me instantly. I blocked every day for a week, the interesting thing here is I thought I was feeling pretty good already, I really didn’t have aches and pains, however I did have a lot of anxiety, gut issues, IBS, things I thought I would never be able to fix since I already ate organic and healthy, exercised almost daily, made sure sleep was a priority, drank a lot of water, you know all the things your supposed to do.

Well, a week later, I kept biting my tongue while eating because my jaw had changed, but I couldn’t explain it to anyone because I didn’t know how, I didn’t realize I had a jaw issue until it felt better, and then my gut started changing. Believe me the belly position still took me a year to be comfortable in, but I didn’t realize how much trauma was trapped in there, 5 pregnancies, an emergency surgery for a tubal pregnancy that almost took my life, very large babies (I stopped after my last son; the 11lb 11oz), and even anxiety wreaking havoc on my gut, IBS so severe for years that I feared going places if I wasn’t close to a bathroom.

I have also had migraines since I was 5 years old. That was the first time I realized that I wasn’t completely healthy, these other issues impacted my quality of life greatly! I told everyone I knew about it! In early winter 2023 after defeating IBS and migraines, I just thought, my goodness I need to add this to my knowledge, I can help so many more people.

I am now so proud to call myself a Certified Block Therapy Instructor!

In addition the Block Therapy community is so great, in February 2023 I asked for help for my son with severe pectus excavatum. Deanna of Block Therapy addressed it in her next Q & A, I blocked with my son almost every day for 4 months and then he told me he could breathe easier and wanted to have a check-in picture, what amazement! We took a before picture and another picture in June and you can see a change.

I feel so blessed to have found this amazing modality, it needs to be shared with the world!

I enjoy sharing my passion, and enjoy helping others to not only reach their goals but help them gain health back. It can start at any age, the benefits to gaining back mobility, feeding your soul and body are so vast.
